Minnesota Rebel Alliance Salt The Streets Get ICE Out Button Pin: Salt the Streets, Melt the Message
This button pin is a pocket-sized protest with punch. Featuring a striking black-and-white bird standing defiantly on ice, this circular pin is framed by the rallying cry “SALT THE STREETS” above and “GET ICE OUT” below. Flanked by two blue ice cube icons, the message is both literal and metaphorical—whether you’re calling for safer sidewalks or pushing back against systemic chill. It’s the kind of accessory that turns heads, sparks conversations, and adds edge to your jacket, backpack, or bulletin board.
This pin was crafted for those who see the world through a lens of wit and resistance. The bird-on-ice imagery evokes resilience in harsh conditions, while the phrase “GET ICE OUT” cleverly doubles as a call to melt away more than just frozen streets. It’s a nod to grassroots activism, local pride, and the power of small symbols to carry big messages. Whether you’re marching, mingling, or just making your stance known, this pin speaks volumes without shouting.
